Looking for a DEI Internship?

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern, a team player with exceptional organizational skills and a self-starter mentality to grow our audience. This position is open to current or recent graduates studying marketing, communications, or another related field (if you live in France or Belgium, you must provide us with a certificate of internship from your school).  

This is a paid internship.

Internship: full-time, Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM

Location: Remote (occasional in-person meetings)

Duration: 6-9 months

The interns are proficient in English, and passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. They are confident in  writing content on the subject and are able to conduct research to provide great insight to our readers. They have a creative mindset and are willing to learn as well as being receptive to feedback.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Write several articles on a monthly basis across our sites as approved by the team.
  • Draft daily social media posts for across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn according to the social media calendar.
  • Working on animating our social media’ stories.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to influence overall strategy.
  • Update performant articles as assigned by the team.
  • Source imagery for our articles.
  • Help Organize DEI events.
  • Edit and add subtitles to videos is a plus
  • Collaborate with the team and content specialists.
  • Pitch content you are passionate about.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in English.
  • knows how to use Zoom
  • Desirable: knowledge in using Slack
  • Experience as a writer of DEI content.
  • Excellent writing skills and self-editing skills.
  • Experience sourcing imagery via Shutterstock, Canva, and similar sites…
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Data-driven
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and provide feedback effectively.
